For Global Entrepreneurship Week (GEW) this week, we have teamed up with Amway Canada sent three ambassadors across the country to report live from the road as they visit Canadian entrepreneurs, small businesses, community partners in the entrepreneurial ecosystem, and attend GEW events. Yesterday Anthony was on the road in Ottawa, Ontario for the day. Here is a recap of his day and some of the ‘ah-ha’ moments he had along the way.

To kick the day off, Anthony was at Parliament Hill for a flag raising ceremony with the Canadian Minister of Small Business and Tourism, Honourable Bardish Chagger and some other key influencers and partners in the entrepreneurial space.

Next he headed off with some Futurpreneur team members to Bluebird Coffee for a warm refreshment and a chance to chat with the entrepreneurs behind it.

By this point, Anthony was ready for lunch so he headed to Futurpreneur supported business, Sopa Soups for some comfort food.

After lunch, he was off for a private tour of the House of Commons and then for a visit at the Cauldron Kitchen, a shared commercial kitchen available for entrepreneurs to rent by the hour.

The last stop of the day before Anthony was off to his next destination was Hatch, an incubator based out of Carleton University.

Anthony’s next stop on his trip is Halifax, Nova Scotia. Follow along at @FuturpreneurATL on Twitter.
