If you’re new to Canada and don’t have a credit history, Futurpreneur Canada wants to help you launch your business. We provide tailored support and eligibility criteria to reflect your new status in Canada.
NOTE: If you are new to Canada with an established credit history, you may be eligible for up to $45,000 in financing through our Start-up offering.
*Applicants age 35 - 39 will be evaluated on a case by case basis for eligibility.
Futurpreneur Canada recognizes that you may not have the established credit history necessary to secure financing. We’re here to help and we’ve partnered with the Business Development Bank of Canada (BDC) to extend our support even further.
Using character-based lending, our program for newcomers provides greater flexibility than most banks. But we can’t do it alone. We’re able to finance up to $7,500 per business. If you need more money, BDC may provide up to another $7,500.
For applicants aged 35-39 we will evaluate your application on a case by case basis to determine eligibility. If you are approved, you will receive your financing through the BDC (up to $15,000). You’ll still apply through us and work with a Futurpreneur Canada mentor, but your financing terms and conditions are from BDC.
Futurpreneur Canada’s Newcomer offering includes participation in our industry-leading mentoring program. We’ll match you with a business professional to suit your needs and help increase your opportunity for success.
