In the ever-changing world of marketing, creativity is key. Kenneth and Klasina Driscoll are the imaginative husband and wife team behind Summerside’s Higher Design, a multimedia promotions company specializing in web development, graphic design, digital film and commercial photography.
The seed was planted in university, where Kenneth developed an interest in design, photography and website development. Following their 2004 marriage and subsequent travel and schooling in Australia, the couple returned to PEI to pursue Kenneth’s entrepreneurial dreams of running his own graphic design company.
Kenneth and Klasina began working on their business plan, immersing themselves in the world of business ownership. Kenneth would focus on the creative side while Klasina would take care of the book-keeping, research and editing. Together, they built Higher Design, and today, the two young entrepreneurs say that their business is stronger the result of their different viewpoints.
“We believe our partnership – as a husband and wife team – adds much to our business,” explains Klasina. “Because we think so differently, we challenge each other, strengthening our partnership and bringing balance to the business itself.”
