Do you want to attend a high-level invitation-only conference on Canada-U.S. innovation & collaboration?
The Embassy of the United States in Ottawa, Ontario and the Canadian policy think-tank Canada 2020 are partnering up to hold a contest for youth entrepreneurs and potential entrepreneurs. Prepare a written or video description of your product or idea highlighting how that product or idea is socially or commercially viable and innovative, and how it enhances or is enhanced by the close Canada–U.S. relationship.
Two winners will be chosen – one from the United States and one from Canada – and flown to Ottawa in November to attend a conference entitled The Canada-U.S. Partnership: Enhancing the Innovation Ecosystem to hear from high-level executives from some of the most innovative companies around the world on how to infuse and maintain an innovative corporate culture.
The deadline for submissions is October 10, 2011. One winner will be chosen each from Canada and the United States by October 18. Winners will receive free travel to Ottawa, lodging at the Chateau Laurier, and a ticket to attend the conference.
