Why did I become an entrepreneur:

I always wanted to create my own clothing line that was truly unique. On top of offering a variety of products for men, women, babies and toddlers, Neechie Gear (‘Neechie’ means ‘my friend’ in the Cree language) also creates and supports youth sports teams. I developed the concept on a ‘need’ I recognized that had to be filled. Neechie Gear would not have been possible without funds from various business competitions.

My best moment as an entrepreneur, my success:

In 2011, I have been fortunate enough to compete and be successful in some of the best business plan/pitch competitions in North America.

My next challenge:

I am constantly pushing myself to expand Neechie Gear and bring fresh designs to the market. I am working on further developing my website and also having more stores carry my product.
