Learning builds a healthy business

April Glavine believes in the power of learning to help you build a strong business. She is the owner and founder of Lean Machine Healthy Vending Service Inc., a Moncton, New Brunswick-based company offering vending machines stocked with healthy snacks and beverages. As well, she completed the Entrepreneurial Leaders Program at Wallace McCain Institute at the University of New Brunswick earlier this year where she gained valuable information, expanded her network and honed her skills – all of which are benefiting her and her business.

April has this advice for entrepreneurs:

• Never stop learning
• Work/life balance is a necessity to keep your performance up and to avoid burnout
• You are not alone. Get out there and network with other entrepreneurs…they get it!

• Plan for your future by writing down your goals
