Under the brand name Multiwise, Sunpeak Foods strives to provide top quality, natural, convenient and enjoyable food products for students, young people, busy families and seniors.

Sunpeak Foods Multiwise offers a range of food products including frozen chicken tenders and samosas, available in stores across Canada and the US.

For Regan Stevenson, the idea for Sunpeak Foods Multiwise all started in university.

The idea and business plan were flushed out as part of a business course at the University of Manitoba. After winning the Northwest Venture Challenge and The Enterprize National Business Planning Competition, Regan’s future career as an entrepreneur was crystal clear.

Together with the support of Manitoba Education, Citizenship and Youth and the investment of CYBF, Sunpeak Foods Multiwise has become a leading food products manufacturer in Canada in a short period of time.

Regan’s credits his mentor, Ernie McIvor, with much of his success, explaining that h experience in the food industry and knowledge of promotion has been an invaluable resource.

“Entrepreneurship is the lifeblood of the Canadian economy and the number one driving force behind Canadian innovation. I think more emphasis should be placed on teaching high school and college students about the entrepreneurial opportunities available to them.”
