Learning is a 24 hour a day, seven day a week, 365 day a year process that helps you achieve success in all aspect of your life. Learning can be:

  • Professional or career orientated
  • Culturally orientated (through literature and the arts)
  • Family and community orientated (how to be involved in building family and community)

All of these components are vital to building a well-balanced personal character that will lead you to achieve happiness and success.

There are various ways to learn:

Formal Learning

  • Biographies of successful people in business, the arts, politics, creating good families and all other facets of life
  • Enrolment in university extension courses for at least 15 hours annually
  • Newspaper columns describing success and happiness
  • Television and radio programs that feature successful people
  • Developing relationships and networking with successful people on a regular basis

Informal Learning

Each waking hour is an opportunity for learning and everyone you come into contact with in a day, including children, grandchildren, friends, colleagues and more, is a potential teacher. However, in order to absorb these daily lessons from others, it is important to approach each interaction with curiosity, and with your eyes and ears wide open.

Every day is filled with learning. At the end of day, take some time to analyze the new information you gained that they through formal or informal learning and decide how it can help you achieve your personal goals in career and family building.
