My life as an entrepreneur
The Trigger: Why did you become an entrepreneur:
My story of being an entrepreneur was far from planned. I had worked in healthcare for almost 10 years, studied Human Biology and Physiology, and had my heart set on becoming a physician. I had a passion for technology, and one day I decided to implement a system to help the patients I work with. When I could not find any systems available on the market, I designed and created my own. Before I knew it, I had become an entrepreneur finding international demand for the system I created. From there it has been a great learning experience and I wouldn’t trade it for any other career in the world.
My best moment as an entrepreneur, my success:
Being an entrepreneur is emotionally challenging. Some days, you feel like you are on top of the world, and other days you feel down. The greatest piece of advice I have been given during this journey is ‘Don’t let your highs be too high, or your lows be too low’. This has allowed me to overcome difficult situations, and reach accomplishments in a humble manner. That being said, my most rewarding moment as an entrepreneur is the entire life of my company – watching it grow from nothing into something that many individuals rely on.
My next challenge:
My future plans, as with most entrepreneurs, can be summed up with a single word – growth. Growing a company from nothing is very difficult, but even more difficult is growing it to a point where it is a substantial entity in the industry and marketplace.
