We are celebrating GEW Canada because we want to get entrepreneurial and participate in this global initiative that highlights entrepreneurship around the world.

The South west borough of Montreal is gearing up to highlight women entrepreneurs, in an event entitled Glambition. Taking place during Global Entrepreneurship Week Canada, this event will bring together 170 female high school students in order to introduce them to entrepreneurship in all its forms.

A study by the Global Entrepreneurship Monitor shows that women tend to be less optimistic about potential success and have less confidence in their skills when considering the option of starting a business. In light of this study, Glambition aims to give young women the boost needed to shape their own futures. The event is an opportunity for them to meet successful and inspiring women entrepreneurs in order to highlight the attitudes and efforts that can lead to succeed in their personal and professional lives.

Encouraging young women to become agents of change in business and in all other aspects of life remains a key concern for those interested in making our society a better place. In is a nutshell, it is our reason for holding such an event.

Unique in its approach, Glambition will assemble twelve female entrepreneurs to present their entrepreneurial exploits through interactive and dynamic workshops. The participants will discover the many facets of running a business and the passion that drives the entrepreneurs.

Glambition will take place all day on November 15th, 2012 at the CRCS St-Zotique in Saint-Henri, Montreal.  For additional information: http://glambition.me  or our Facebook page www.facebook.com/glambitionentrepreneurship
