The Trigger: Why did you become an entrepreneur:
There was a pressing social problem in Ottawa that I wanted to solve. Despite the world-class intellectual capital in Ottawa, all too often, social impact ideas remained in the margins, lacking the infrastructure, mentorship, connections and resources to take ideas to execution and maximize their impact. To support Ottawa’s socially driven entrepreneurial talent and the implementation of innovative solutions to the world’s most pressing issues, we’re bringing the internationally successful Hub model to Ottawa – a collaborative working space where people dedicated to sustainability and social change can kick-start, co-work, collaborate, and scale their community projects and social enterprises.

My best moment as an entrepreneur, my success:
Every day there are new stories of change. Change instigated or amplified by our members’ work or projects. We need more of these.

My next challenge:
Growing the Hub membership and Hub culture while maintaining the diversity of sectors and disciplines
