Give thanks to your mentor!

National Volunteer Week 2013

It’s National Volunteer Week and we’ve created the following video featuring Julia Deans, CYBF CEO, to thank all of our dedicated mentors and volunteers for their significant contributions to youth entrepreneurship.

We are proud to be celebrating and honouring the efforts of our valued mentors and volunteers, especially during National Volunteer Week 2013 (April 21-27). Thanks in large part to the remarkable contribution of these great individuals – in the form of experience, guidance and motivation – Canada’s young and emerging entrepreneurs are being given the tools needed to succeed in business.

The investment of time and dedication put forward to create and foster a culture of entrepreneurship is greatly appreciated by the communities in which our mentors and volunteers serve. In addition, we thank everyone who generously gives their time as board members, advisors, Local Review Committee members, volunteer contributors for our Entrepeer Vibe e-newsletters, and experts within CYBF’s Entrepeer Hub LinkedIn group.

Our mentors and volunteers turn their passion for entrepreneurship into action, and have a significant impact on young entrepreneurs, their communities and Canada’s economy.

Check out what some of our young entrepreneurs had to say about their mentors in the following video.

We have created a thank you card you can download here to recognize your mentor and show them how much you appreciate their feedback and the value they provide to your business. We encourage all CYBF entrepreneurs to reach out to their mentors by imbedding or attaching the thank you card in an email, and why not share your praise on twitter using #iheartmentors or #CYBF in your posts. Also, make sure to check out our blog campaign this week featuring fellow entrepreneurs  thanking their mentors.

CYBF thanks our mentors and volunteers for their energy, positivity and dedication, and for helping to nurture youth entrepreneurship in Canada!
