I work at Dawson College in Montreal and we are celebrating GEW because we want to inspire youth to make this world a better place.

We are celebrating by hosting a blowout week of activities: 30 Montreal entrepreneurs, 21 events, 2 contests, prizes and surprises! This 4-day intensive entrepreneurial boot camp will bring together budding entrepreneurs and the business community for a series of unforgettable events!

  • Information Kiosks – Entrepreneurship Support Organizations
  • High profile guest speakers and panel discussions from companies and organizations such as: Just for Laughs, Twist Image, Tuango.ca, Askmen.com, Biztree, Seeding Factory, Montreal Living Labs on themes such as Failure and Success, Social Innovation, Artist-Entrepreneurs, Creativity, etc.
  • Workshops – Crowd-funding, Pitching, Networking and Marketing for Entrepreneurs
  • Contests – Dawson’s Den, YOU INNOVATE Idea Challenge
  • Meet-up of All Meet-ups – a networking evening where local techie and creative meet-up groups converge to make connections and possibly meet a co-founder
  • Speed-date an Entrepreneur

I believe that entrepreneurship is important to Canada because innovation and entrepreneurship will shape the country into what it is destined to be: The best country to live, work and play in!
