Week that was: May 20-24

We may have had a short week last week but it was packed with important deadlines! See what happened over at CYBF this past week:

• TELUS #smallbizchallenge for a $100K business grant from @TELUSBusiness!  Get more information here.
• Call out to all transitioning #CanadianForces members last week as the last day to apply to The Prince’s Operation Entrepreneur application closes. Find out more about what CYBF and the program.
• Final countdown to the Spin Master Innovation Fund deadline was last week. What a turnout! Thank you to everyone who helped spread the word about #SMIF13 and to those who applied.

British Columbia

• CYBF BC team attended the Surrey Board of Trade Top 25 under 25 awards this past week and also participated in the Reach Entrepreneur Event .
• We had our own Jill Earthy and Paulina Lipska on the judging panel for our Fundica Funding Roadshow where they had two of our CYBFers also pitching. We can’t wait to hear the outcome!

Manitoba

• CYBF MB team tested out a new CYBF entrepreneur service with a grand outcome. “Just ordered online from Yuki Sushi on SkipTheDishes  #skipthedishes – easy peazy”
• Joelle Foster spent the weekend with an impressive group of innovators and entrepreneurs developing ideas at Ramp Up Weekend. Find out more and check out some great photos and a slideshow.
