  • AGM and event on Parliament Hill. Attended by our Board, many MPs and 33 of our amazing entrepreneurs. The event made it clear to Minister Bernier and MPs how much CYBF does to help young entrepreneurs and our economy, and we came away with a new cohort of supporters.
  • BG Group and CYBF announcement: BC Premier Christy Clark and BG Group CEO Chris Finlayson joined Julia Deans in signing an MOU that will see BG Group invest $5 million over 5 years in CYBF’s work to help young entrepreneurs in BC, with a focus on northern, rural and First Nations communities.   • CYBF at Ontario Economic Summit: last week was moderated by Julia Deans. A panel speaking on youth jobs and entrepreneurship featuring CYBF entrepreneurs Lauren Friese of Talent Egg and Armen Bakhirtzian of Avenir Medical (click for photo).
  • TELUS supports young Canadian entrepreneurs
  • With every smartphone activation or renewal on a TELUS Small Business SharePlus Smartphone Plan from November 1-30, TELUS will contribute $50 to support young entrepreneurs through the CYBF’s Entrepreneur-in-Residence Program. Find out more.
