In December 2019, the ThriveNorth program successfully completed its five-year mandate. Managed by Futurpreneur Canada, the program helped young entrepreneurs in Northern B.C. launch and grow their businesses by connecting them with resources, financing and mentorship.

Now that we’re getting to know the communities in BC’s Northwest region, we would love for you to get to know us. Allow us to introduce you to Lisa Mueller, the Community Business Development Coordinator for Futurpreneur Canada and ThriveNorth.

Lisa is a guide, coach and informal mentor for young people based in the Northwest region interested in learning more about business ownership. There is so much to learn and understand regarding building a business, and Lisa is here to lend a helping hand.

Lisa comes to Futurpreneur Canada with a background in banking, business ownership and a passion for mentorship and helping people. She is a natural partnership builder and loves helping people understand their strengths and the opportunities in front of them.  Lisa is First Nations from the Tsilhqot’in Territory, and has lived in Terrace and Prince George and is now happy to call Port Edward her home.

Feel free to reach out to the ThriveNorth team at thrivenorth@futurpreneur.ca for any questions about the opportunities ThriveNorth can provide for you.
