Global Entrepreneurship Week (GEW) returns in 2018, and Futurpreneur Canada is proud to be the official Canadian host for the tenth consecutive year. Running from November 12 to 18, GEW unites more than 10 million people across 160 countries in a global celebration of self-starters and innovators making their mark and blazing the trail for current and aspiring entrepreneurs and business owners.
GEW is the largest celebration of entrepreneurship, providing a platform for connection, collaboration and engagement for entrepreneurs.

Put your city on the map and join the GEW buzz from coast to coast by organizing and registering an entrepreneurial event in your community. From intimate networking gatherings to large-scale events and competitions, we are calling for all communities across Canada to join the Challenge.
The city that hosts the most entrepreneurial events per capita during GEW (November 12-18) will be awarded the title of Most Entrepreneurial City in Canada!

GEW Women
This year GEW presents GEW Women, one of its core themes for 2018 that recognizes and celebrates the increasing role and contribution of women to the entrepreneurial ecosystem.
To celebrate, Futurpreneur Canada, in partnership with TruShield, is proud to present Trailblazers 2018: A celebration and showcase of inspiring young Canadian female entrepreneurs.
Join us in Vancouver on November 15th to hear from five trailblazing Futurpreneur-supported women entrepreneurs who have used their ventures to break down barriers and forge new paths in the entrepreneurial community. Be inspired by their stories, network with other entrepreneurs and community members, and help celebrate the importance of small business in Canada.
