The Dressing Room (TDR) (ON)Bio
I am the youngest of three siblings, raised by a single strong mom in a low financial background family. My mom taught me that education and perseverance could lead me far, and she was right. I am currently pursuing a computer engineering degree as a recipient of the esteemed Lester B. Pearson Scholarship, a fully-funded scholarship at the University of Toronto awarded to only 37 students globally. My passion for entrepreneurship ignited at 17 when I discovered a novel molecule, earning me the prestigious Stockholm Junior Water Prize from the Princess Victoria of Sweden herself. This recognition cemented my desire to use my talent for developing groundbreaking technologies to address the world’s most pressing environmental issues.
With a dream to leverage AI technology to improve the lives of millions by 2030, I embarked on building my startup more than two and a half years ago. As a Cansbridge Fellow, together with 19 other talented Canadian university students, I was granted a $10k scholarship and a 10-week internship in Asia, further enriching my entrepreneurial journey. My accomplishments led me to become the youngest ever accepted startup founder into the NEXT36, NEXT CANADA program, where I continue to develop my AI-driven technology.
Beyond academics, I’m a passionate low-budget traveler, having explored 92 countries thus far. I passionately share my entrepreneurial and travel experiences on social media, inspiring young girls not to shy away from pursuing ambitious goals.
