Alex knew how tough it was being an entrepreneur after seeing his uncle’s experience back home in Zambia. In Canada, he was having difficulty getting a job following his undergraduate studies in wildlife biology and ended up finding work as a carpenter. The opportunity to purchase equipment and materials from his boss set him on the path of starting his own home renovation and restoration business. Writing a business plan, understanding finances and setting objectives with the help of Futurpreneur opened his eyes to the realities of owning a business.
