CYBF and TD Canada Trust to offer free entrepreneurship seminars to Quebec youth ages 18 to 35

Partnership to encourage youth to launch their own businesses

MONTRÉAL, October 18, 2011 – This fall, the Canadian Youth Business Foundation (CYBF) will host a series of free seminars to encourage youth, aged 18 to 35, to launch their own businesses. Organized throughout the province of Quebec, these conferences will provide to the participants an opportunity to network and to hear the story of Martin Thibault, the inspiring owner and co-founder of Absolunet.

“Many young people have great innovative ideas and dreams of owning their own business. These conferences, designed to meet the needs of young people who are ready to start their own businesses, can help them achieve their dreams of business ownership.”

The TD/CYBF conferences will take place between 6:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m., on the following dates and locations:

  • Québec : Wednesday, October 26th, 2011 at the Centre local de développement de Québec (125 Charest Boulevard East)
  • Gatineau: Thursday, November 3rd, 2011at the Centre d’entrepreneurship de l’Outaouais (25 Laurier St.)
  • Montréal: Tuesday, November 8th, 2011 at the ÉTS, Nortel Room (1100, Notre-Dame St. West)
  • Laval : Tuesday, November 15th, 2011 at the Centre local de développement de Laval (1555 Chomedey Boulevard)
  • Sherbrooke: Wednesday, November 23rd, 2011 at the Le Président Hotel (3535 King St. West)
