CBDCs are dedicated to strengthening both local entrepreneurs and the community’s economy as a whole.

“Coastal Business CBDC is committed to helping local entrepreneurs realize their business dreams.  This new partnership with CYBF is well aligned with our goal of helping young entrepreneurs start and grow their businesses,” says Patricia McNeil, Executive Director, Coastal Business CBDC.   “We recognize the importance of getting started on the right foot. CYBF and its resources, such as financing and mentorship, complement our start-up assistance programs. This partnership provides yet another tool in our business assistance toolkit.”

As Canada’s ‘go to’ place for youth entrepreneurship, CYBF is dedicated to growing Canada’s economy one young entrepreneur at a time. Working with youth between the ages of 18-39, CYBF looks at character, not collateral when providing pre-launch coaching, business assistance, start-up financing and mentoring. Through these resources, CYBF helps young people launch and sustain successful entrepreneurial businesses. CYBF is able to deliver these programs across the country through important community partnerships with organizations like the CBDCs located in Atlantic Canada.

“We are thrilled to have the three CBDC organizations in Cape Breton join our growing network of Community Partners. Working together, our shared commitment to supporting young entrepreneurs we serve will go a long way.  The CBDCs goal of creating vibrant communities in the regions they serve is a goal we have in common”, says Nicole Osmond, CYBF’s Director in Atlantic Canada.   “CYBF is excited for this new partnership and look forward to working together for many years ahead.”
