Ten Outstanding Entrepreneurs Chosen for CYBF’s High Fliers Program

November 1, 2012 – HALIFAX, NS – The Canadian Youth Business Foundation (CYBF) has announced the selection of 10 young entrepreneurs with outstanding potential for its High Fliers program.

High Fliers will help the entrepreneurs aged 18-39 take their existing businesses to the next level by pairing them with a seasoned business leader who will act as their mentor throughout the duration of the program. Additionally, they will take part in five different workshops and seminars; each designed to help build specialized knowledge and skills that further advance their growth goals and provide the opportunity for networking.

Selected entrepreneurs (and their business ventures) include:

Leah Skerry of Norex, Menna Riley of Parlour Room Event Productions, Kelly MacDonald of Creekside Equestrian Centre, Mark Hobbs of Denote Communications, Colin Gillis of IPECC Project Management Inc., Chris Barker of Genesis Technology Inc., Katelyn Allen-Romkey of Redriot Communications and The Fork Project, Anais Guimond of Atlantic Cirque Agency & School, Alex MacCaull of HMS Financial Inc., and Emerich Winkler of Green Data Centre Inc.

“Our 10 High Fliers are ready to embark on an incredible journey. Each entrepreneur is well poised for growth.  They have the desire to be mentored and enhance their skills.
