Olivier Letard is a dynamic and well-known leader who has created and invested in internationally recognized and successful businesses from a variety of industries, such as engineering, film production, software, restaurant businesses, real estate and travel.
After earning a Masters degree in mechanical engineering and completing postgraduate training in marketing and technical sales at the Université de Paris, Olivier Letard started his career in France, as Sales Manager in the aerospace industry. This early work experience allowed him to build strong relationships with many industry players in Europe.
In 1998, Olivier decided to resettle in Québec and became Business Director at an engineering services company. In 2000, he co-founded the consulting services firm idCAD Consulting with Étienne Borgeat, which specialized in innovation process optimization and implementation of PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) approaches in engineering departments and industrial corporations.
The boldness of the entrepreneurs, their strategic vision, their business acumen and their international network of contacts quickly ensured the tremendous success of the enterprise. In just a few years, it grew from two to 120 employees working in North America and Europe. In 2007, Olivier played a major role in the acquisition of PCO Technologies, a French corporation which was facing financial problems and conflicts among shareholders. idCAD merged with PCO Technologies and became PCO Innovation. Under his leadership, the French division returned to profitability again, in just a few months. After strong internal growth, the company today has more than 700 employees in 30 different countries and prestigious clients, such as Rolex, Boeing, Hyundai, Volkswagen, Bombardier, Mitsubishi, Sanofi Pasteur, Vuitton, Michelin, Nestlé, Gemalto and Nokia.
Despite having a busy schedule as President of PCO Innovation, Olivier Letard develops his entrepreneurial spirit by being actively involved as a founder, investor or administrator of different companies, such as:
- Sequoia Business Travel (business travels for small and medium-sized enterprises)
- SushiGo (Asian restaurants franchiser)
- Sesame (Asian restaurants franchiser)
- Dakis (software publisher for online sales)
- Foncière St-Jacques (property management)
