In December 2019, ThriveNorth successfully completed its five-year mandate, helping young entrepreneurs in Northern B.C. launch and grow their businesses by connecting them with resources, financing and mentorship.

Managed by Futurpreneur Canada, ThriveNorth was launched in November 2014 through a partnership established by Youth Business International (YBI), a global non-profit organization that supports international youth entrepreneurship initiatives. Futurpreneur is YBI's Canadian partner and has been supporting young, emerging business owners for over 20 years.

Through ThriveNorth, Futurpreneur expanded its offerings with the generous support of local partnerships and community resources. ThriveNorth was a joint initiative between Futurpreneur Canada, the Province of British Columbia and Futurpreneur Foundation to empower and enhance entrepreneurship opportunities for young people.
